Case Study
Walmart Me@ Manager Hub
Intro
As a Senior UX Designer, I led the design of the Me@ Manager Hub for Walmart, focusing on streamlining scheduling, performance tracking, and associate transactions such as transfers, terminations, and location changes. My primary responsibility was to leverage Walmart’s design system to create an intuitive and scalable experience that improved operational efficiency and associate engagement.
Problem
Store managers at Walmart faced challenges in efficiently handling key operational tasks such as scheduling, performance tracking, and associate transactions (transfers, terminations, and location changes). The existing system was fragmented, time-consuming, and lacked a user-friendly interface, leading to increased administrative workload, delayed decision-making, and lower associate satisfaction.
Solution
To address these inefficiencies, we designed the Me@ Manager Hub, a centralized and intuitive platform that streamlined scheduling, performance tracking, and associate transactions. By leveraging Walmart’s robust design system, we created an experience that improved workflow efficiency, reduced administrative burden, and enhanced communication between managers and associates.
Prototype
The prototype focuses on a manager trying to transfer an associate to another manager
